How can I see my stars and rewards balance?

Your home page view shows how many stars you have (out of a total of 9) and will indicate the number of available rewards.

You can also check your star balance in the ‘Rewards’ tab, which tracks your progress towards your next free drink.

Rewards appear in both the Rewards and Card tabs, and are also available at checkout.

I think I’m missing stars or rewards?

Stars and rewards can, in some instances, take up to 24 hours to appear on your account. If they are not showing up when you think they should be, please ensure you have a) refreshed the app by swiping down on the home page until a spinning wheel appears or b) force quit and re-opened the app.

I can’t find the add-on or customisation I would like for my beverage

We endeavor to include as many combinations of available customisations as possible and the app reflects the same customisations you can make in store. Occasionally if your local store is sold out of an ingredient it may not appear in the app temporarily.

The ”special instructions” section should not be used to add additional flavours or toppings. Use this section to let us know if we should modify the temperature or packaging of your beverage or food.

What payment types can I use?

You can pay at checkout or top up your Starbucks Pay balance with Apple or Google Pay, Visa or Mastercard.

Starbucks Pay balances can be used to purchase beverages through the app or as a form of payment when ordering in store. Note you will be asked to scan your card or app a second time to ensure that payment is made.

You can also use a Starbucks Gift card to top up your Starbucks Pay balance. Simply select ‘add gift card’ from the Card tab.

Starbucks Pay can be topped up to a maximum of AU$500 in increments no larger than AU$200. Balances do not expire but cannot be transferred and are not redeemable for cash.

The app does not currently support paying for a single transaction with multiple payment methods.

How can I find a Starbucks location near me?

If you have location services enabled, your closest store will be shown in the ‘stores’ tab of the app. You can search for a nearby store using the magnifying glass icon in the top right corner.

How can I save my favourite store?

Tap the heart icon next to your favourite store’s address and we’ll remember it for next time.

How can I save my favourite beverage?

Tap the heart icon next to your completed beverage in the checkout screen, and we’ll save it to your favourites for next time.

How do I order ahead?

You can schedule an order for up to 2 hours ahead of your current time. Note the order will be automatically released to the store 5 minutes before your scheduled pickup time.

Simply choose ‘order for later’ when you confirm your pick up store.

We do not currently have the ability to cancel or change forward orders.

I accidentally sent my order to the wrong store! What can I do?

Mistakes happen! Simply show your order confirmation to our friendly baristas and they’ll make up the order for you.
