How can I request information about donations or sponsorships from Starbucks?

It's part of the Starbucks culture to contribute positively to the neighbourhoods and communities where we live and work. You can learn more about our community giving programs in Social Responsibility.

We are very active in supporting our local community and consequently we receive a high volume of requests to support many worthy activities.

If you are seeking coffee donations please contact your local Starbucks store manager. You can find the details of your nearest store by clicking here.

 

If you are seeking another form of sponsorship please send your request in writing addressed to Starbucks Sponsorship PO Box 6065, Frenchs Forest Delivery Centre, NSW 2086 or at admin@starbucks.com.au at least one month prior to the occasion. If the request fits within our corporate guidelines then we will follow this up with a phone call.

Does Starbucks franchise?

Starbucks does not franchise operations and has no plans to franchise in the foreseeable future. As an exception, Starbucks may enter into licensing arrangements with companies who provide access to real estate which would otherwise be unavailable such as airport locations, major food services corporations and hospitals. How can I lease property to Starbucks?

Starbucks actively develops products and ideas of its own. So, while we are interested in new ideas, technology and products, we have to preserve our own ability to innovate. For that reason, we must limit our review of unsolicited proposals, materials or ideas and wish to be clear as to the conditions under which we will accept them for review.

Because of our own development efforts, we prefer not to receive proposals, materials or ideas unless they are for technology or products that are already patented, or that are in production and publicly available. While we are happy to consider these, we cannot promise to keep any proposals, ideas or materials confidential. We cannot promise to compensate you for reviewing or using them and we cannot promise that we will not, (or are not already), using your idea or a similar idea. We want to be clear about our limited ability to protect the confidentiality of your proposals, ideas or materials. In short, all proposals, ideas and materials shall be submitted to us with "no strings attached."

Will a Starbucks store be opening in my area?

We are currently focusing on rolling out stores along the eastern seaboard of Australia. It is certainly our intention to move into other areas within Australia in the short to medium term, although exact timing has yet to be determined. Where can I find the furniture and design elements found in Starbucks stores?

It is Starbucks policy to not provide information regarding our vendors and manufacturers to the general public. The contracts Starbucks signs with vendors are legally binding documents between the party and the Company in order to ensure confidentiality. As an alternative method of locating specific design elements, we suggest seeking out retailers and design centres that showcase new and innovative design work.
